Remodel of 1st and Second Floors and 650 Sq. Ft. Third Floor addition

This was a challenging and exciting site to design for. Challenging because we needed to economize construction costs in order to accommodate a limited remodeling budget and exciting because of the amazing ocean views and spacious beach city living style we were able to create. The structure started as a duplex apartment building and we focused on reconnecting the living experience within the house to the environment and in so doing also changed to brutish and rundown look of the original building by re-skinning it with a new, articulated architectural adaption.
